Dog Boarding

Question: Best dog boarding/kennels in pittsburgh?

I am going on vacation this summer, and I have been researching dog kennels and daycares in the Pittsburgh area, but am not sure which one is the best one for my German Shepherd. He will be 7 months old when we go away, and I want to put him in the best possible care that I can. I'm not too worried about the cost, I will pay for good services. Does anybody recommend a certain place in the area? Also, any tips on what to look for in a good kennel, and what should I watch out for? Thanks!

Sorry, i don't know of any good kennels, but i do have some tips on how to find a good one. ask a vet or animal shelter of some good kennels *some vets will even board your dog for you* if you do find a kennel on your own, observe the other dogs. do they look happy, well fed and clean? find out if the dogs are supervised at play time and if they will have someone to make sure they are safe *out of direct sunlight etc etc. hope this helps!

Well your vet might be a boarding kennel but ask your vet they should be able to tell you some good ones and answer questions
