I am needing to find videos that teach you dog to sit, stay ,stop, attack etc... does anybody have any links to good videos. I live in the country so need the comand attack to teach our dog b c my kids walk along the creek line and take the dog with them so in case they ever need protection
Koehler dog training method?
I have started looking into Koehlers dog training methods and I it seems like a great training method ,but, I have one concern. Many people say it is abuse. Some of the examples the give are Correcting digging by filling the hole with water and holding the dog's head under " until he's sure he's going to die" and doing this for several days in succession. Hanging the dog on a choke chain with his feet off the ground, and chides the " soft" owner who may then feel sorry for the dog that vomits and collapses. He recommends such dangerous techniques as duct taping a chewed object into a dog's mouth for days to punish chewing. He recommends threading a dowel through a rubber hose and hitting the dog with it for up to 20 minutes to " correct" some problems.Is this true? I am getting the book to see if it has good methods but the examples above kind of threw me off.
What are some good dog training systems?
I want to train my dogs but cant afford to put all three of my labs through individual training. Id like to get something where i can do it in my own home that's not too expensive and that i can use on all of my dogs.I just need a little more then basic training so that they will not bark, and go nuts when new guest arrive. Also i like to have then out to play and i cant have them running around when they aren't in a confined ares.

How much should I charge for dog training?
I am a 14 year old girl and I am going to charge money to teach dogs how to walk on a leash properly. I researched everything on how to do it, so now I know how to do it. It's called loose leash walking, and basically every time they tug you simply stop, wait until they come back, praise them, and move on. I was wondering what I should charge for my services. It'll be 1 on 1, me with their dog, at their home or a well spaced area.What should I charge? How long should the session last?
Help with "watch me" dog training?
I have been training my dog properly for about a month and he is really doing well considering he is nearly 4. I got him not so long ago.He has been dog aggressive since we got him and so we are teaching him and using the 'watch me' command. If there are no distractions or few distractions he will watch. If a dog is 3 4 of a football pitch away he will watch. Or if a dog is a bit closer but going away from us he will watch. It is just hard going that next step and getting him to watch when a dog is closer. I really need to devise a situation where there is a dog or dogs in the distance and in which we can gradually move closer. But I can't think of a way of doing it. Nobody I know has a dog . We are in the Uk and looking for ways to progress. Are there any dog trainers with ideas ?

Tips on dog training?
I'm 13 and I have a wolf, which is slightly more stubborn than an average dog. In the future I want to have a wolf rescue, that is why I have him. It is a lot of work but it is really worth it. I read books on raising him by nicole wilde but any extra hints will be helpful. Don't write hate messages, cause I don't care and I'm tired of it, shut up and leave me be. I've already heard the fake messages " He will turn" No they don't if you raise them right. " They are aggressive" pf ft not.Any dog training tips help, he's not too different from a dog, he is a sweetheart.Thanks to anyone who helps

Dog training on a year old dog?
My dog is a year old and he is terrified of people and other dogs, I really want to help him Can anyone give me advice I don't want to go to a trainer because the last one made him worst because he is now fearful aggressive. If there are any books or videos that would be greatly appricated.
Help with my dogs training issues?
I have a cockapoo male, fixed that just turned 3 yesterday. he's a great dog that has had a lot of training, but he does have his problems. for one, he barks at anything that makes a sound. or if someone comes to the back door. its a real problem because he has a loud bark and wont stop for a long time. But the main problem is that he growls and snarls at us sometimes. this only happens when he gets some of our food off the table and we yell and or try to take it away from him. or if hes chewing on something like a pillow or socks he gets very defensive and while snarl and sometimes even give a 'warning bite' where he bites at the air very close to us. He's a very friendly dog most of the time and is great with children and the elderly, which is why im so confused. Why does he do this and how can we make him stop? any ideas would be great Thanks ELIZABETH C first of all i did not contradict myself. He IS a well trained dog. he can do anything from bring you specific toys to roll over and put his toys in his bin. He is not spoiled, its not like we give him whatever he wants and he almost never gets 'table food', only on holidays like thanksgiving. so while i appreciate any suggestions that you have, i also would appreciate if you would not assume things like that we treat him like a princess.
