Teaching my dog tricks?
We found our little black puggle at a local drug store tied up and the cashier said that she had been there since the opened. WeVe had her for a few months now and I recently discovered she knows the command " sit" . My other dogs know many tricks, an I'm trying to teach her some, but she's a bit of a bozo. I told he to sit and once she did I'd say " paw?" grab her paw and say " good girl, Maggie " and give her a treat. After about a half hour of this, I figured shed get the idea, but she doesnt. Help? What am I doing wrong?
What sre some dog tricks a large dog can do?
He already knows sit,shake,stay,and lay down. But I want him to do more. And when I say large I mean like as tall as a 2 year old human.

Teaching a dog tricks?
I have taught my dog some pretty unusual tricks, and I am looking for another weird one to teach her. I have taught her to mimic me like a parrot, climb the stairs and slide on command, bring her empty food dish to the kitchen, and when I drop something lightweight she carries it for me. She is a Mini Dachshund, so her size limits her on some tricks. What should I teach her next? If you don't believe me go on Youtube and search xxjba1013xx. I have video proof of everything except the sliding.

Ok, so I love to teach my dog tricks. He's a Border Collie X, and really smart. Anyways, he already knows how to shake with both paws, right and left, how to high five, how to balance on his hind legs, " die" when we say bang, roll over, crawl, and the basics. I would like to teach him to maybe bow his head and cross his front paws when I tell him to say grace, so how would I do that? And do you have any other ideas for cool dog tricks? Thanks

Whenever I want my dog to do a trick, she does each and every trick she knows in succession until I say good girl and give her a treat lol she never just does one. How did this happen?
Problem teaching my dog tricks?
I've already taught my dog some basic tricks, and now I want to teach her more. However, she's a rescue dog and has anxiety issues, so whenever I try to teach her a trick she freezes up and starts shaking halfway through. I know I can't condone her nervousness because that would be like praising her, but I feel like if I tell her no then she will associate that trick with something she shouldn't do. What should I do?I'm assuming her very first owner used treats to lure her in some way and ended up hurting her. Whenever we give her treats she gets suspicious and my family and I have to really exaggerate our praise so she understands that we are rewarding her. As a puppy she was treated very inhumanely which led to her fear of water, sewers, foreign objects, loud noises, and sometimes even other people. It's been almost two years and no matter how hard we try, sometimes she still gets shaken up.

i have a collie mix she knows all basic tricks and obediance..and she also knows shake weave speak jump beg paw other paw run treat on nose and catch it crawl roll over nap time lays on her side she learns quickly and is very smart. any more tricks?
